Yasmin Fatemi, M.D. is a highly trained interventional pain management specialist and anesthesiologist with a unique background in both biochemistry and music. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry and minor in Music from the University of Dallas, combining her passion for science and the arts. Dr. Fatemi went on to receive her Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, where she graduated in the top quartile of her class and was chosen to be a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society.
Dr. Fatemi completed her residency in Anesthesiology at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, one of the nation’s premier medical institutions. Following residency, Dr. Fatemi completed her Pain Management Fellowship at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, further specializing in advanced pain relief techniques.
Dr. Fatemi is an active member of several professional organizations, including the Texas Medical Association, the American Society of Anesthesiologists, and the North American Neuromodulation Society, reflecting her commitment to staying at the forefront of her field. Her comprehensive training and compassionate care approach allow her to provide cutting-edge treatments for patients suffering from acute and chronic pain. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, trying new restaurants, reading, and playing video games.
